Overall the stay was enjoyable as the staff was very accommodating.

The location was a bit far out but it was still accessible. I will be going back on 10th or 11th prior to returning to the UK.

1. The Wi-Fi cutting out after3 days and was only accessible in the reception area. 2. No access to the balcony area as the door lock was faulty and the window had a large crack in it. I reported the matter on 3 occasions a staff came and took a look a maintenance man was due to come but failed to so. I did not get to enjoy the use of the balcony for 8 days.

Very Good

I've been coming to this hotel since 2017 and can highly recommend it. The location is great, friendly staff. It needs some maintenance but if overlook that you will not get better value for money anywhere in this area.

we were upgraded so we were happy with our sea view room.

breakfast was super, they had varieties and a live station for eggs. i loved their Mandazi. The beach was just by the hotel and so clean, i will definitely be back with family

no wifi at all.

it has the potential to be a great hotel, but management surely needs to improve things.

- direct access to the ocean with a private beach and a big nice pool - nice staff. checked out late without informing them before, they didn't even mention it. other hotels charge. - room price is very moderate

- no WIFI in the hotel - the night security staff is talking loudly and playing music, well hearable in the rooms - the aircon only works every 2 days (they ration the electricity) - the bed is so soft that everybody got back pain on the next days. I love soft matresses, but this is so worn out that it is even too soft for me - overall run down athmosphere, balcony door not working and have to access balcony through the window, door opens only after multiple attempts, needs quite some renovations for sure

This was a birthday present from my family to go through to Tanzania on holiday. I loved the country and will definitely be going back. On the whole Africa is very progressive and no more negative than other western countries.

Some of the public toilets condition, was not sanitary. However, I have also seen poor sanitary conditions in Spain Turkey and Greece.

Beachfront hotel with pool and amazing views but lets itself down with operational challenges

The hotel is right on the beach which is great and if you get one of the more expensive rooms they are large. I only stayed one night and got good service from my waiter who looked after me. The food was tasty.

The initial experience of booking the hotel didn't go well as my pre-arranged airport transfer with the hotel did not arrive. This despite my local colleague calling and confirming the booking the day before. In the end after calling the hotel they advised they were "unable to locate the Driver". In my room, the sink and the shower were both blocked, suggesting that maintenance is not always a priority. The front-desk is understaffed and there is only one person working it. If they get called away for some other purpose you are left wondering if anyone is working the front desk at all as there is no communication. Immediately behind the front desk there is an office at the rear with a glass window were a Manager sits. But if you think she is going to come out of there and either tell you that someone is going to come soon or God forbid, come out and serve you, think again. Food was tasty, but small. My least favourite aspect of this hotel is that I had invited a work colleague to come to the hotel for a meeting but the front desk wouldn't allow her in without paying 15,000 shillings for the privilege! I ordered the burger which was good, but it was small the number of fries served weren't far away from being a Prime Number.

Fair service, but could do better

The Seaview. Some staff are helpful and friendly.

There was no do not disturb/clean my room sign in the room and morning times, the cleaners are quite pesky and annoying, repeatedly knocking and asking if they can come in and clean. On two occasions, they did not clean the room at all, and it had to be done late, like around 6 pm. The excuse being that they can't get in the room if I have the key. There is a rancid smell in the bathroom, and the lighting is inadequate in the living space because some lighting has been removed. There are cockroaches in 311 and other places. So despite their eagerness to clean, they don't do a good job. The entire hotel needs refurbishing. One night they rang my room at 10 pm to ask us to pay a bar bill of a mere 10,000 tz and I was booked to be there another 48 hours, so this is an example of some of the stupidity of staff we experienced. It used to be a very nice hotel but it has gone to the dogs.

The view from the room and when having breakfast in the restaurant. The swimming pool.

That there was garbage on the beach when going into the water. They didn't clean the room because I took the key with me even when I put the sign "please clean the room" on the door.

My stay was excellent. I recommend this hotel.

I liked the beach view, the beach sand and rest areas. Breakfast was good with a chef on standby. Room was very good.

Wifi only worked at the ground floor. So it disturbed my work on my laptop since I didn't get a local simcard for data.

The view from the room and the restaurant. The swimming pool. Easy to reach with Bolt.

Garbage on the beach when going into the ocean. The policy of not cleaning the room if you forget to leave the key in the reception.
